Almost Thanksgiving!

hello again!

We're on a road trip!  We drove last weekend from Kirksville Missouri to Arcade NY.  It was a long ASS drive.  Seriously.  Google map it ;)

We got to stop in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, where we'll be moving in June and look at some houses.  It's such a nice area, we're really looking forward to moving there.

Also been having a good time on Etsy.  I got a custom order for two sweaters with snowflakes on them.  I've been working feverishly knit knit knit!

And finally, before I go, one more picture of Mocha :)

This is the newest sweater I posted today.  As you can see, he had a hair cut this past week.  We wanted a trim and they gave him a shave.  I was soooo angry.  If they do it one more time, we're never going back...

Wooo!

Woot, a new post!  Can I just say that this is the last full week I have to work?  And it's going to be awesome :)  Then I get to go home to WNY which will also be awesome and see many people I haven't seen in a very long time.

I finished 2 new items for my etsy shop.  Trying out some new, quicker ideas b/c I'd like to do a craft show in the spring and I would need a LOT more stuff to make it worth while.

This one is a sweater.  Mocha looks so good in it

I'm going to call this next one "festive." I would never have Mocha wear it but I'm sure someone out there wants Christmas colors.

Plus, we sold our Christmas tree sweater this weekend.  Averaging one sale a week is pretty good, I think :)  Totally inspired (by mocha...) hehe

I figured it couldn't hurt to share more pictures of Mocha :)  He has a terrific time on walks.  He listens (usually), sits when we tell him to, and sometimes he even heels!

For whoever doesn't know, when a dog heels he's supposed to walk next to you, generally following a treat.  Since Mocha is all of 10 inches tall, the treat is always way above his head and he's usually running a little ahead of us.  So, he's watching the treat running forwards, looking backwards, and grinning from ear to ear b/c he's having a blast!

I had no idea that I would need to prepare for the  Christmas season on Etsy, so I bought some red yarn, made a sweater, and am now stitching a very happy snowman onto it

Hopefully, I'll be able to put that up on my shop tomorrow :)  It seems to take me forever and a day to knit a sweater.

I've also ordered some Christmasy supplies for dog collars and am waiting w/baited breath for those.  Can't wait to put up some holiday collars!

Well, anyway, it couldn't hurt to have another picture of Mocha, could it??

The Blogosphere, day 2

Since I made this blog yesterday, I feel the need to post again.  All motivated and things.

Mocha hasn't figured out daylight savings time yet.  He woke me up exactly an hour early this morning.  Of course it was with lots of love and some cuddles, but it was still way too early :(  But how can I say no to this face?

Mocha's favorite thing is tummy rubs.  He's pretty much shameless and will have his tummy rubbed at any time.

He also shamelessly pouts when one of us is gone.  This is Mocha waiting for Nathan to come home.

Life is tough, quite obviously, when you're adorable.

And here is my shameless plug for my team.  I want one of these, btw, for Mocha.  Therefore they would make an excellent Christmas present *hint hint*

Social Networking At It's Best

Hello first blog post!

Thank you for visiting :)  I'm a former musician turned pharmacy technician and crafter.  I live in Kirksville Missouri with my fiance and our super cute puppy, Mocha.

There he is!  Cute little thing.  He loves to pose for the camera.  I realized the other day that he was pouting because I took pictures of something and didn't take a picture of him.

He also models the sweaters and collars I make

I started an Etsy page because I had a few baby hats that hadn't sold at a craft fair and I thought, "why not?"  But then I started making sweaters for Mocha and I just couldn't help myself.  I'm loving this pet accessory thing.

My most recent adventure is to make dog collars.  In order to do this, I had to learn to sew.  Or I guess I should say relearn.  This has definitely been an adventure, but I put up my first collars on my shop today and will have more tomorrow :)

So here is my blog, to promote my shop and other shops that promote me, and to yap a little about my puppy, cause he's too cute to keep to myself.
